I'm now featured as a cyborg on the cover of SURVIVOR FACTORY, my publication celebrating the strength, courage, and resilience of survivors. Robo-Ashok depicts how part of my skull has literally become metallic, replaced with titanium due to brain surgery. Universally, the image shows how we, as brain injury/brain surgery survivors, are fiercely living past death, our brains altered infinitely -- permanently. We have become indestructible, technological biomythographies brought to life, stronger than ever before. As the phrase goes: "DAMAGED PEOPLE ARE DANGEROUS -- THEY KNOW THEY CAN SURVIVE."
